Remember tuning into PBS in the '90s and hearing that a show was made possible by "viewers like you"? That’s exactly how our studio works.

Autistic Wings is driven by two remarkable young co-founders: 15-year-old Leta, a member of Chloe Arnold’s elite SoleTalk company who stepped back from outside training to build this haven, and 17-year-old Faith, a Synergy Dance artist who powers our operations behind the scenes writing grants and stepping in to teach. Together, they’ve built a vibrant home where neurodivergent dancers of all ages can leap, spin, and belong without ever having to mask. Because traditional dance pricing shuts out so many families, every dancer here relies on our Scholarship Fund for tuition. Right now, our fund is stretched to its limit, and new friends are stuck on our waitlist.

Our goal this Colorado Gives season is to welcome four new dancers to the floor with full tuition scholarships. We can do that if 110 neighbors join us at $25 a month (or any monthly pledge). Monthly gifts mean stability: they let us look our families in the eye and promise that their tuition is guaranteed next month.

Mission

Autistic Wings Dance Company's mission is to provide an empowering, safe space where autistic dancers can thrive. Rooted in the belief that the activity must adapt to the dancer—not the other way around—we offer specialized instruction, movement, and performance opportunities, ensuring every student can build confidence and pursue their path in the arts and beyond.

Background Statement

Autistic Wings is a rapidly growing organization led by autistic individuals. We invented the nation's first Dance Studio IEP and commit to an unparalleled standard of care: highly specialized classes with a high teacher-to-student ratio. All classes have 1-4 dancers, and at least 2 teachers per class.

This life-changing model has caused Autistic Wings to outgrow our single-room facility with crumbling walls. We must secure a new, larger studio to serve our waitlist and guarantee a safer environment.

Your support is critical. This Colorado Gives, we are seeking recurring monthly donations to secure our new home, instantly unlocking space for 72 new dancers and paving the way to serve over 200 students by next fall.
