Denver Scholarship Foundation's (DSF) work starts in the DSF Future Centers, located in Denver Public Schools (DPS) high schools, and staffed by DSF College Advisors. DSF College Advisors provide a detailed roadmap to college for high school students by supporting them through every step of the process. DSF College Advisors provide support with applying to certificate, two-year, and four-year programs; offer assistance securing scholarships and financial aid; and connect students with on-campus college resources. 88% of DSF Scholars are first generation college students, as they are the first in their families to go to college. DSF operates 14 Future Centers serving 21 DPS high schools. DSF College Advisors worked proactively with 3,249 seniors and their families in 2018-19.

DSF provides need-based, renewable scholarships for up to four years to qualifying DPS graduates. Every year, DSF provides over 1,800 scholarships to esteemed and determined scholars across Denver. Since DSF started providing scholarships in the fall of 2007, we have awarded $43.4 million in scholarships.
