As Chair of the Board for the Kempe Foundation, where I have proudly served for more than eight years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing stories of courage, resilience, and hope. I’ve seen children who have endured unthinkable abuse and trauma find safety, healing, and a future because of the work this community makes possible. At Kempe, we hold fast to a simple belief: every child deserves to grow up safe, healthy, and wrapped in the care they need to thrive.

Colorado Gives Day is one of our most meaningful moments of the year—a chance for all of us to stand with children and families who need us most. This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal of $125,000, and every contribution truly makes a difference. Each dollar helps prevent abuse, supports healing, and strengthens families across Colorado. Together, we can change the trajectory of a child’s life.
