Fraser Valley Hockey Association has given my son a love so deep for a sport, I couldn't even imagine. The coaches are so invested in not just the sport but the development of each athlete. One coach pulled my son in right as he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue. Since then, FVHA has not only become a family for my son but for our whole family. We love the comradery but the inclusiveness of the teammates. This sport is the absolute best! -Peewee Family not looking for publicity :)
Fraser Valley Hockey Association strives to bring safe, affordable hockey to the Fraser Valley through exciting play in both youth and adult programs while focusing on skills development and good sportsmanship.
Fraser Valley Hockey began as a dream of several people n Grand County over 10 years ago. David Dresen was the "legs that did the heavy lifting" to get things started, from permitting, fundraising, volunteer coordinating to the actual building and starting the youth and adult programs. Many, many people volunteered their time and resources to get us where we are today, and Fraser Valley Rec has been an incredible support and help to allowing us to grow while we worked through the process.
Today we have 20 plus year round volunteers and over 100 players. Our youth season has grown from scrimmaging other mountain towns to playing in the Colorado Competitive Youth Hockey League. In the 22/23 season, the Fraser Valley Eagles won their States Competition at every level.
