Expanding Locker Room Space

Youth hockey in our community is rapidly growing with our local youth association, Fraser Valley Hockey Association, and our newly added high school team. With that growth comes an urgent need for expanded locker room space. Providing adequate, separate rooms ensures every team—girls and boys—has a safe, private, and age-appropriate environment to prepare, change, and meet with coaches. Sufficient locker room space not only supports player safety and comfort, but also promotes inclusivity by guaranteeing that girls have dedicated, reliable access to their own changing areas. Expanding these facilities strengthens the overall experience for all athletes, supports compliance with national safety guidelines, and ensures that our rink can continue serving a diverse and expanding hockey community. 

Portable locker rooms will provide an immediate, flexible solution to the growing need for dedicated locker room space while permanent facilities are being planned and constructed. These temporary units can be placed adjacent to the rink and outfitted with benches, hooks, heating, and secure entry to ensure players have a safe, private place to change and store equipment.
