Who We Are
We are the Colorado Gives Foundation (formerly Community First Foundation). We connect people, ideas and nonprofits. We are a Jeffco grantmaker and statewide, we invest to build the capacity of nonprofits and donors via Colorado Gives 365, nonprofit endowments and donor services.

What We Believe
We believe that a community is built by connection, and everyone can make good happen. Together, we strive to build resilient, connected and thriving communities, which is good for everyone.

What We Do
Colorado Gives Foundation is a community foundation (a public charity, 501(c)3) dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined geographic area. We work statewide to help donors, whether they are individuals, organizations, or corporations, with giving accounts that fulfill their charitable interests. We also make grants to nonprofits serving Jefferson County to ensure that all of Jeffco is thriving. Unlike other community foundations, we also run an online giving platform – Colorado Gives 365, via ColoradoGives.org which connects donors to nonprofits across the state of Colorado, and powers a giving day every December called Colorado Gives Day.

Through Colorado Gives 365, we make it easy for people to donate to the causes they care about, enabling meaningful change to help our neighbors thrive. We achieve this by connecting people, ideas, and nonprofits, helping donors with philanthropic planning, and supporting nonprofits with grants and resources. Together, we strive to build resilient, connected and thriving communities. Our work is rooted in attentive listening and a firm commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
