Here’s how it works:

Each week, I highlight a non-profit making a positive impact in Colorado and ask you to consider a donation of $5 or more. I join you in giving, matching the first fifty donations of $5 every time.  

When you set up a recurring monthly donation, Colorado Gives Foundation automatically divides your gift among the selected nonprofits that are featured through Word of Thanks. Then, you don’t need to remember to donate each week. Instead, you can rest assured knowing you’re making Colorado a better place every week!

What is the Word of Thanks Fund? 

The Word of Thanks Fund is a Donor Advised Fund with the Colorado Gives Foundation and it is a way to simplify your giving with a recurring monthly donation. Your donations will support every Word of Thanks non-profit without having to re-enter your donation information every week. 

How does the Word of Thanks Fund work? 

The Colorado Gives Foundation will divide your recurring monthly donation among the featured Word of Thanks non-profits each month. You will receive an email receipt for your tax-deductible donation to the Colorado Gives Foundation. 

Why was the Word of Thanks Fund created? 

The Word of Thanks Fund was created in response to requests from community members seeking a way to make recurring donations to each week’s micro-giving campaign. Some donors also requested a way to give weekly without joining the mailing lists of each featured non-profit. 

How do I change the amount of my monthly donation or cancel my monthly donation?
