The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation, established in 2003, fiscally-sponsors over 23 organizations that expand its mission to serve civic, educational and community needs. The Foundation is managed by an all-volunteer board. Our mission is to encourage community giving by connecting donors to community needs, building permanent charitable funds, and bringing people together to improve the quality of life throughout Wheat Ridge.
To help community organizations raise funds, to create an endowment as a permanent source of funds, and to improve quality of life for all residents of Wheat Ridge.
In 2003, the Wheat Ridge Foundation was created to support city programs. It has since expanded to serve a variety of civic, community, educational, scholarship and endowment Client Funds. The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation is a platform for individuals, families, and businesses to invest in community organizations serving all ages of Wheat Ridge residents.
