A new campaign for the Wheat Ridge Optimist Club in 2020 is the creation of Autism Sensory Kits. These kits will provide teachers, first-responders and families with a "help aid" when dealing with autistic individuals. Donors can sponsor a kit for $20 - so why not sponsor 2 or 3 kits? Each kit contains visual, tactile, and auditory items to support a child or adult with autism when they are in a stressful situation.
