Rise Against Suicide starts with the individual. Reaching even one young person struggling with suicidal thoughts or impacted by suicide has a ripple effect that restores a family and strengthens our entire community.

Our journey began in September 2009, when we supported fewer than 50 youth with around 300 sessions annually. Today, we provide over 3,000 free, rapid-access therapy sessions each year for more than 400 youth across Boulder and Broomfield counties. Since our founding, more than 27,000 fully funded sessions have reached over 2,500 local young people, helping them find hope and healing.

We make this possible by dismantling every barrier to mental health care. While traditional networks often subject families to six-to-eight-week waitlists, we accept direct referrals from health care workers, schools, families and the community connecting youth with fully licensed private practice therapists within 48 to 72 hours. With zero cost to families and a clinical roster featuring bilingual Spanish-speaking and LGBTQIA+ clinicians. We make certain that local youth receive timely, culturally responsive, and identity-affirming care when they need it most.
