3rd Annual Gobble for Good

As the leaves turn golden and the air fills with a crisp chill, we are once again reminded of the warmth that comes from gathering around a table filled with love, laughter, and delicious food. For many families in our community, however, the joy of a Thanksgiving meal remains out of reach. Rising costs, reduced benefits, and everyday financial pressures mean that hundreds of our neighbors face the painful reality of food insecurity.

This year, in partnership with the Salvation Army, we are continuing our Gobble for Good campaign—a heartfelt initiative to ensure no family goes without a Thanksgiving meal. Our goal: to provide nourishing dinners to 500 families in need. With your support, we can make it happen!

More than a meal, this campaign offers relief from stress, nourishment for growing children, dignity for parents, and connection for isolated seniors. A Thanksgiving meal is often the first step in linking families with long-term community support, opening the door to health, stability, and hope throughout the year.

Volunteer Opportunities

🚛 Truck Unload – Help unload 600 boxes of food and 4 pallets of toys at Avon Elementary School on Friday, November 22. Reach out to confirm if your group is interested.

🥕 Bag Creation – Assist with assembling 600 food bags filled with essential items and fresh food on Friday, November 22 from approx. 3–5 PM.

🚗 Delivery Assistance – Help distribute food bags to families in neighborhoods on Saturday, November 23 from 8–10 AM.
