Next with Kyle Clark/Word of Thanks: Ember Center

For 40 years, Ember Center (formerly Crisis Center) has been a beacon of hope, providing shelter, therapy, advocacy, and healing to countless domestic violence survivors and their families.  The expansion of our work to include sexual assault services allows us to broaden the support we provide to survivors of all forms of abuse and helps fill a critical gap in services. 

We are pleased to be featured as part of Next with Kyle Clark's Word of Thanks micro-giving campaign.

Annually, Ember Center provides direct services to nearly 400 adults and children. Client outcomes and impact are positive, with: 

• 90% gained knowledge about community resources
• 100% know more ways to plan for their safety
• 90% are more hopeful about their future
• 100% are more self-sufficient than before engaging in services
• 93% understand the violence was not their fault
• 87% stated their overall emotional health and well-being have improved
