JSO Team VIOLINS 2025

Last year, JSO musicians raised more than $15,000 as it was matched by an anonymous donor.  For Colorado Gives 2025 we have a friendly competition between three sections of the orchestra, each with about 25-30 members.

Goal:  which team can bring in the highest number of NEW donors!

Competition dates:
November 1-December 9, 2025.

Team Lower Strings

Rules:

• Team participation is voluntary but encouraged
• Participants may choose only one team, even if you play more than one instrument.  
• Anyone can join any of the teams, even if they are not a JSO musician.

 Get your friends and family to join! The more participants on a team, the wider the audience reach in this peer-to-peer contest for Colorado Gives 2025.

Earn points for your team doing the following:

• 1 point for each member on a team
• 1 point for any NEW donation received online through this fundraiser from a donor who has not given online during previous Colorado Gives events. 
       This can be a donor who has given before, but did not give online or during the campaign in previous years.  Examples: A donor wrote a check last year  OR A donor made a gift with their ticket purchase this year before Nov. 1.
• 0 points Donations made offline (by check or cash, not through the CO Gives campaign) do NOT count toward the CO Gives total and do NOT earn a point. 
•  Jefferson Symphony will gladly accept any donations at any time!
• 2 points for a NEW, recurring donation from any donor who is not enrolled in recurring giving. (this can be a previous JSO donor, but just signed up for a NEW monthly gift.)   
  This gets double points because: The first gift of a  New Monthly donation made to JSO during the campaign will be matched 100% for every new recurring gift. The match is up to $100 per donor.   

Examples: a current one time JSO donor signs up to give $10 a month.  First Bank will match that gift of $10. JSO receives a total of $130 per year  ($120 from the donor plus $10 match for the first gift.)A new donor signs up to give $125 per month. First Bank will match that gift up to $100.  JSO receives a total of $1600-$1500 from the donor and $100 match for the first gift.
