At Almost Home, housing stability means more than keeping a roof overhead, it means keeping children in their schools, helping older adults remain safely housed, and giving families the chance to move forward without the fear of losing their home.

When Amber’s husband experienced a medical emergency, their family quickly fell behind on rent and faced the frightening possibility of losing their home.

With support from Almost Home’s Housing Stability Program, Amber and her family were able to regain stability and remain safely housed during an incredibly difficult time. Amber shared that Almost Home helped turn a season of uncertainty and stress into one filled with relief and hope.
