Aurora Interfaith is launching the Fund the Hunger Gap campaign to address the urgent rise in local food insecurity caused by recent SNAP benefit reductions and a decline in funding for food assistance programs across the industry.
As federal and state food programs scale back, more families throughout Aurora and the surrounding communities are turning to Aurora Interfaith for help — and our resources are being stretched thin. Our shelves are low, our lines are long, and we urgently need community support to keep food on local tables.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to bridge the hunger gap and ensure no family in Aurora goes without food or essential supplies.
We’re thrilled to announce our first matching gift opportunity, generously provided by First Plymouth Congregational Church of Englewood. Every dollar donated will be matched up to $3,000, doubling your impact and helping us reach our goal even faster.
You can also start your Colorado Gives Day giving early — designate your donation to Aurora Interfaith and help support families facing food insecurity in Aurora and Denver.
✨ Every gift matters. Every meal counts.Together, we can close the hunger gap and ensure our neighbors have the food and dignity they deserve.

All donations will directly sustain and expand Aurora Interfaith programs that provide critical relief, including:
Food Pantry & Fresh Market: Supplying groceries, produce, and shelf-stable items to families in need.
Emergency Services: Providing diapers, pet food, toiletries, and hygiene products.
Utility Assistance: Helping families avoid service disconnection.
Community Navigation: Connecting clients to housing, employment, and legal resources.
Every dollar goes far — $1 provides 3 meals, ensuring efficient and impactful support.
