It’s hard to put into words what the Colorado Children’s Chorale has meant to our family—but if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s this: the Chorale changes lives.

Our daughter Bella has been singing with the Chorale since second grade and is now a sophomore. Through the Chorale, she has traveled the world, singing in Australia, Costa Rica, and Germany/Prague, and experienced unforgettable opportunities like performing at Carnegie Hall. Our younger daughter, Sophie, joined in second grade as well and is now a proud fourth grader, growing in confidence and joy through music alongside her peers.

But the Colorado Children’s Chorale does so much more than teach children how to sing beautifully or read music. They build confidence, teach children how to stand in front of an audience and use their voices bravely, create an environment rooted in respect, teamwork, and kindness, immerse children in different cultures, and bring music to thousands of students through school workshops and community concerts.

Most importantly, the Chorale has instilled in our children a deep love and respect for people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Their motto, “Be Brave. Be Kind. Be Brave Enough to Be Kind.” is not just something they say—it’s something they live, every single day.

That’s why we’re bowling for something big.
