TAME Summer Community Fest: Celebrating 5 Years

For the past five years, TAME Wellness has been creating opportunities for connection, recovery, and hope throughout Grand County.

What began as small art nights after work  has grown into a community-driven nonprofit that has hosted hundreds of free sober social events, provided mental health support, connected residents to resources, and created safe spaces where people can build meaningful relationships and improve their mental wellness.

This year, we are celebrating our 5-year anniversary by hosting our first-ever TAME Summer Community Fest on August 22, 2026.

The event will bring together families, community members, local businesses, volunteers, and organizations for a day of fun, connection, and fundraising in support of mental health programming across Grand County.

Activities will include:

• Rocky Mountain Bubbles Foam Pit
• Fire Truck Bucket Rides
• Watermelon Eating Contest
• Face Painting
• Yoga Sessions by Zen Den Fruita Yoga
• Cornhole Tournament
• TAME Mocktail Bar
• Community Vendors
• Mental Health Resource Booths

While the event is designed to be fun and family-friendly, the purpose behind it is deeply important.

Every dollar raised helps TAME Wellness continue providing:

• Free sober social events
• Mental health support and resources
• Community connection programs
• Harm Reduction Supplies like Narcan and Fentanyl testing strips
• Transportation to Detox or Rehab
• Outreach to underserved communities throughout Grand County like Kremmling

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help sustain and expand these efforts and pay our staff
