Last year, we said yes to helping two young stray cats from another shelter. They were only 7–8 months old themselves—still kittens in many ways.

What we didn’t know was that both were already pregnant.

Within days, two cats became ten.

And that’s how it happens. Quietly. Quickly. Overwhelmingly.

Now imagine that same scenario happening across our community—unseen, unaddressed, and repeating over and over again. This is the reality of cat overpopulation.

Through TNR, we:

• Humanely trap community cats
• Spay or neuter them
• Provide basic medical care (vaccines, ear tipping)
• Return them to their outdoor homes where they are safe and no longer reproducing

TNR doesn’t just help individual cats—it stabilizes entire colonies and prevents future suffering before it begins.
