In less than 10 days, I will compete in the 10th Annual Lake Fork Flyathlon. A Flyathlon isn't just a typical race; it's a blend of running and fishing strategy that is always unfolding. 😁 More importantly, each Flyathlon aims to raise money to conserve and restore native fish populations and the freshwater ecosystems that sustain them.
I look forward to this race each year. The camaraderie of old and new friends, fishing, running, and fall weather make this a fantastic Colorado weekend. I aim to raise $1000 between now and September 19, 2024.
Running Rivers is a grassroots 501c3 organization. Every Flyathlon is committed to conserving and restoring native fish populations in freshwater ecosystems by inspiring people to engage in conservation through unique recreational events, education, and on-the-ground projects.
