I'm fundraising for The Blue Bench to support school-based sexual assault prevention initiatives and empower the next generation of anti-violence advocates.

Globally, the UN reports that youth participation in community initiatives contributes to both individual development and community resilience. Local youth-led initiatives demonstrate tangible benefits for social cohesion and civic skills. How we educate our youth today is the basis for how we, as a community, respond to sexual violence tomorrow.

The Blue Bench's research-based prevention education programs in schools and youth groups are designed to empower young people to recognize sexually inappropriate behavior, intervene in harmful situations, support survivors, and challenge harmful norms that blame, silence, or minimize survivors’ experiences. Participants have gone on to become vocal advocates for bodily autonomy and healthy communities.
