Welcome to our page! We are Beckett & Cooper Rathbun, and we've been singing with the Colorado Children's Chorale for four years. This year, we are both in Tour Choir, which is the Chorale's top performance choir. As Tour Choir members, we share our love of music on tour with communities regionally and globally. During the 2025-2026 season, we are representing the Chorale along with other middle schoolers from across the Denver metro area.
This spring, we'll be performing with both the Colorado Symphony and the Colorado Ballet during the month of March. In April, we'll have our big spring concert, Free to be All of Me, when we perform with all of the choirs from the Colorado Children's Choral. Then in May, we get to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, before heading to Slovenia and Italy in June for a big choral music festival.
It's time for our annual fundraiser, and Team Tour Choir is bowling for something big! 🎳🎶 Strikes for Song supports the Colorado Children’s Chorale’s performance and education programs, including helping to provide scholarships that allow lots of other children across the Denver metro area to experience the same choral training and performance opportunities that we've had. Your donation will help other young singers build musicianship, confidence, and a love of music. Join us in striking up support for young voices like ours!
We want to tell you in our own words why the Colorado Children's Chorale is so important to us, and why it would mean so much to have your support!
In Beckett's Words: Singing with the Chorale is my favorite thing to do, and I always look forward to every rehearsal and every performance! I feel very lucky to be part of the National Tour Choir of the Colorado Children's Chorale because I get to have amazing opportunities constantly and get to make connections with people around my age who also love to sing. I am very proud to be able to share music and hopefully inspire other kids! Being in the Chorale has taught me to be a better performer, to be a team player, and to be a better musician as a whole. I love performing music from all around the world because we always learn about what the song means and make a point to talk about the culture and how to portray the emotions that the music represents. Traveling with the Chorale also gives me a better understanding of different cultures. Our performance tours allow me to see the world with my best friends in the world and meet other kids from around the world!
In Cooper's Words: The Chorale is one of my favorite things to do because I love to sing and dance. I feel happy when I'm at choir because I'm surrounded by other middle schoolers who also love music. Performing with the Chorale makes me feel proud of myself for being able to make it to Tour Choir, and proud to be part of a group of kids who also work so hard. I feel like by being in the Regional Tour Choir, my performances can help to brighten someone's week. It shows people that our generation can work hard and do good things. It makes me feel really good when I see little kids in the audience of our shows, talking enthusiastically to their parents and being super excited about music. I feel like a good role model when I can inspire another kid to want to sing with the Chorale.
Thank you for your support!
