Every December, our Military Broadcast Radio team heads to Valor Point VA Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado with backpacks full of winter warmth and encouragement. Valor Point is a VA transitional home and domiciliary, opened in 2013, that helps homeless veterans recover and rebuild their lives by providing residential treatment and support【801662509806890†L128-L131】【643911327064316†L3029-L3033】. During the holidays, many residents have no family or resources. That’s where you can help.
For our annual gift-giving campaign, we assemble durable backpacks packed with essentials: warm hats, gloves, blankets, toiletries, snacks, and personal notes of gratitude. With your generosity, we ensure every veteran at Valor Point receives a personalized backpack and a reminder that their community cares.
The funds raised here go entirely toward purchasing these supplies and delivering them directly to Valor Point. Any additional money helps us expand outreach to more veterans and cover delivery costs. Together, we can brighten the holidays for those who have served and remind them they are never forgotten.
