James -Colorado Children's Chorale CO Gives Day 25

I’m excited to support the Colorado Children’s Chorale this Colorado Gives Day — an organization that’s meant a great deal to me personally.

The Chorale was a foundational experience for me growing up — it shaped how I think about creativity, teamwork, and the power of creativity to open up your world. In the Chorale’s top choirs, I had the chance to travel regionally and internationally, discovering new cultures, foods, and ways of connecting with people. Those experiences at a young age broadened my view of the world and sparked a lifelong curiosity to keep learning, exploring, trying any food at least once, and pushing my own boundaries. As a board member now, it’s incredibly important to me to see those same opportunities provided to today’s young singers.

Every year, the Chorale reaches thousands of children through performances, school workshops, and community programs across Colorado and beyond. Watching them sing — seeing that spark of pride and excitement — is a reminder of what happens when kids are given the chance to find and share their voice.
