Access to nature-based education and healing for future generations

Students from across the country come to Louisville, Colorado to learn an ancient system of transformative medicine.

They become leaders in healthcare.

Since its founding almost 30 years ago, nearly 200 ITEA graduates have created waves of transformation and healing for so many across the world. Supporting current students in their educational journey allows for deeper learning and commitment towards their professional and personal goals.

Many students work and support their families while in school - we can support them, together!

By providing financial resources for students through scholarship opportunities and greater access to important learning tools, we can support students to become leaders in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.

Future Healing and Leadership

Your gift supports scholarship funds for students in need. Funds for students to attend ITEA and other financial resources builds stronger, thriving leaders for community healing.

Thanks to our community of supporters, donors, graduates, faculty, staff, students, and board members, Sandy's vision can continue to shine.

On the fifth anniversary of Sandy's passing in 2025, ITEA announced the Sandy Lillie Scholarship Fund

This new scholarship opportunity is possible thanks to donors. This is available to current students through an application process.

Over the last five years, we have renewed our efforts to share Classical Five-Element Acupuncture with the world.

  • On President's Day of 2022, ITEA launched a new, vibrant website and announced plans to expand into a new location.
  • After celebrating our 25th anniversary and nearly 12 months of successful fundraising, over $25,000 was raised towards our New Building relocation campaign goal.
  • Two years ago, ITEA shared the big news that the school would stay at their current home sweet home in Louisville, expanding into and renovating a new suite at the current location.
  • Last year, ITEA was humbled to announce a fully funded Growing Our Future campaign, in support of our expansion and renovations.
  • In the fall of 2024, ITEA announced the Hybrid Track, an innovative new path for students to access this transformational education beginning in August of 2025.
  • In August of 2025, 12 new Hybrid Track students started their ITEA journey, while over 30 more students continued towards their degree in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.

Thank you to every dollar donated and to every donor, volunteer and supporter involved in making this dream a reality for ITEA. This system of medicine ⎻ and our incredible school ⎻ can continue to bring healing and transformation to many more lives for years to come.

Together, we are stewards of this medicine.

Together, we carry Sandy's vision and the ITEA legacy forward.
