🌈 This May, I'm doing something I never thought I'd do — joining #TeamMHFB for the 2026 Denver Colfax Marathon weekend. I am not a runner. I have never been a runner. But I'm lacing up anyway, because this program deserves it.
For a lot of LGBTQ+ kids, adolescence is genuinely hard. Some don't make it through. MHFB Youth Camp exists to change that — giving young musicians a space to rehearse, perform, and be around LGBTQ+ and allied adults who made it through the hard parts and are still here, still making music, still building community.
That's worth a few miles of discomfort on my part.
MHFB Youth Camp is free to every student who walks in the door. I'm personally matching every donation dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 — because if I'm going to run my first race, I want every mile to count. Will you run this one with me? 👇
