SUMMARY
Denver Audubon is launching one of Colorado’s first licensed outdoor nature-based preschools in Fall 2026. This innovative program will immerse young children in nature year-round, fostering curiosity, resilience, and lifelong environmental stewardship.
This program will expand access to nature-based early childhood education by creating a Gear Library that equips families for year-round outdoor learning, removing barriers to participation. The program will also foster a network of skilled educators and serve as a model for high-quality, nature-based learning across the state, inspiring a new generation of confident, curious, and resilient learners and educators.
