Supporting Survivors

For 40 years, Crisis Center has provided necessary and critical services to survivors of domestic violence. This year, Crisis Center is extending our reach to provide these necessary services to sexual assault survivors! This is an exciting update to the services we offer, allowing us to reach even more individuals impacted by violence. 

With this comes an exciting name change! Ember Center is a symbol of resilience, light, and the enduring strength of every survivor we serve. This new chapter is more than a fresh look; it represents our evolving mission and commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Ember Center provides community-based advocacy, legal advocacy, therapy, and emergency shelter. All of these services are free and confidential. Through these services, our clients are able to find safety, build their self-esteem and self-sufficiency, and learn about healthy relationships. 

As a victim service provider, Ember Center, along with many other organizations across the country, has faced drastic federal funding cuts that have impacted the way we are able to serve our clients. Now more than ever, we need your generosity and support to continue providing these needed services.

With your support and generosity, you can bring immediate hope to the people we serve. 

1. $37 keeps our 24-hour crisis line open, so no call goes unheard. 

2. $115 gives a survivor one month of legal advocacy so they have support while navigating the legal system. 

3. $128 provides one night of safe shelter to someone escaping violence. 

4. $69 covers a therapy session that can begin the healing process. 

5. $184 offers a month of community-based advocacy to help empower a survivor to rebuild their life.
