Emergency Feeding

In July of 2025, Colorado Food Program launched a true no-cost grocery program in two locations. 

• Save-A-Lot in Denver, Colorado
• Simple Foods Markets in Del Norte, Colorado

Due to the government shut down, CFC is going to open up enrollment for our Food Trust program (no-cost grocery program) so that those impacted the most can access fresh, healthy food items during this time. CFC is enrolling additional participants that meet one of the criteria below: 

1. Essential Federal Employees (still working but not getting a paycheck)
2. Furloughed Federal Employees (not working, not getting a paycheck)
3. People enrolled in SNAP
4. People enrolled in WIC
5. People enrolled in a Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations

Once enrolled, participants will use their phone number to discount the healthy grocery items at the participating store.
