When survivors of domestic violence arrive at our shelter, they often leave everything behind, including the ability to put food on the table. Our grocery campaign helps provide fresh food so families staying in our emergency shelter program can nourish themselves and their children with dignity. Every donation fills more than a cart.  It fills hearts with hope, stability, and the strength to rebuild. Together, we can ensure no survivor faces hunger while taking their first steps toward safety and healing.

Why not direct food donations? We believe empowering survivors to choose their own groceries based on their preferences, nutritional needs and culture. By providing a monetary donation, you give families the dignity of choice, help us respond quickly to urgent needs, and ensure that every survivor has access to fresh, healthy food.

How your impact makes a difference:

  • $100 = one week of groceries for a survivor starting over

  • $250 = groceries for a parent and child for two weeks

  • $500 = a month of groceries for a family of four

  • $1,000 = fresh food and pantry staples for 8–10 households in crisis

  • $3,000 = full monthly grocery support for all survivors in our emergency shelter program
