Hi!

As many of you know, I recently started working with the I Have A Dream Foundation in Boulder County as a Program Specialist for the high school cohort. However, my history with I Have A Dream started a couple of years earlier. In 2023, I had the privilege of interning with the middle school cohort through a CU internship program. Between field trips, reptiles in the classroom, and swimming till we couldn't swim anymore, I learned so much about what it takes to be in this role. It was such an amazing experience for me and was the inspiration for my career moving forward.

I love the work I get to do with my students, and with some help from you all, we hope to raise money for more Dreamer Scholars, more opportunities, and maybe some new buses :)

My personal goal is for 15 of my friends and family to help make these goals a reality!

Como muchos saben, hace poco comencé a trabajar con la Fundación I Have A Dream en Boulder como Especialista de Programas para el grupo de high school. Pero, mi historia con I Have A Dream comenzó un poco antes. En 2023, tuve el privilegio de trabajar con el grupo de estudiantes de secundaria, gracias a un programa de interns de la Universidad de Colorado. Entre excursiones, reptiles y nadando hasta que no podíamos, aprendí muchísimo sobre lo que necesitaba para este puesto. Fue una experiencia increíble y me inspiró para mi carrera profesional.

Me encanta el trabajo que hago con mis estudiantes y, con su ayuda, esperamos recaudar fondos para más becas Dreamer Scholars, más oportunidades y, tal vez, ¡algunos autobuses nuevos! :)

Mi meta personal es que 15 de mis amigos y familiares me ayuden a hacer realidad estos sueños.

Who We Are:

At the “I Have A Dream” Foundation Boulder County, we believe that when given equal access to the resources they need to succeed, all children can ignite their innate potential and achieve their dreams. We partner with youth and their families as they successfully navigate school, college, and career by providing long-term, holistic academic, social, and emotional programming for our Dreamer Scholars – from 1st grade through 1st job.
