As the only year-round, licensed early childcare center serving children ages 1-7 in the county, Bright Start plays an essential role in supporting local families and sustaining our workforce.

Today, we have an opportunity to secure Bright Start’s future with a permanent home designed specifically for early childhood education.

Why Now

Bright Start must transition out of its current facility by the end of 2027. Rather than face continued uncertainty, Bright Start’s leadership and Board of Directors are proactively working to establish a permanent location that provides long-term stability for families, educators, and employers across Lake County.

This project represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to secure reliable childcare infrastructure for our community’s future.
