My name is Sabrina and I am a domestic violence and sexual assault therapist and I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I love providing therapy and empowering survivors each session to help them see their worth and understand that the abuse and trauma they faced was not their fault. I am lucky to work for an organization that provides free services and support for clients in need, including therapy, advocacy, legal advocacy, a 24/7 crisis line, and emergency shelter that are all confidential. Every day we get to see clients find safety, increase their self-esteem, and learn about healthy relationships with the support of donors and grants.
At Ember Center, we are committed to changing the world of our clients. Your donation can be a way for you to join in on the fight with us. Every day, we offer a lifeline by providing free, confidential services to those who have nowhere else to go. Without these free services, so many survivors would be left isolated and vulnerable. Last year, Ember Center provided direct service to 308 adults and children. 22% of these people used more than one Ember Center service.
Your compassion and generosity bring immediate hope to someone in need:
- $25 keeps our 24-hour crisis line open, so no call for help goes unheard
- $115 gives a survivor one month of legal advocacy to navigate the court process
- $150 provides a safe night of shelter to someone escaping violence
- $75 covers a therapy session that can begin the healing process
- $185 offers a month of community-based advocacy, empowering a survivor to rebuild
Every single gift makes an impact, no matter the size. Your support offers real hope, safety, and a path forward to people who might otherwise remain trapped. Please consider providing any amount you are able to so we can continue helping survivors in need. Thank you for helping me to make a difference for people who otherwise would have no hope in their life.
