The Return to Leadville

Leadville has captivated my attention since I was invited to pace a good friend in 2024. I participated in the 100 miler in 2025 with hopes of achieving one of the loftiest goals that I'd ever set my sights on. Although I became a better version of myself in pursuit of that goal, I DNF'd returning to Twin Lakes too late, and my day was cut short at 62 miles in. This was far from the outcome that I wanted and the pursuit of this accomplishment has taken longer than I thought it would. DNFing was the outcome I got however and perhaps the one that I needed. I'm returning in 2027 to finish what I started with the people that mean the very most to me. 

The town of Leadville allows for many like myself to pursue these experiences.  Running in the mountains, alone at times, but with plenty of support. Your donation will not only help grant me this opportunity, it will also directly benefit those in the local community that is such a special place. This race is the lifeblood of the town and the money that the LT100 Legacy Foundation raises each year ensures that all seniors graduating from Lake County High School receive a scholarship.  Your contribution will help provide a $3,000 scholarship to one of those students, and share an opportunity to impact their future.
