Warming Ways: Summer Nights

When you think of homelessness, you might picture freezing winter nights and heavy coats. Our community gathers each fall for Warming Ways for Winter: A Home for Every Season to make sure families are safe when the temperatures drop.

But families need us long before winter arrives. Summer nights can be just as dangerous—especially for parents and children without a stable place to sleep. Cars and motel rooms grow stifling. Sleep is restless. Anxiety about tomorrow never cools down.

That’s why today we’re launching Warming Ways: Summer Nights – 30 Days for 50K.

Over the next 30 days, we are working to raise $50,000 to keep families in our community safely housed and supported through the heat of summer and into the seasons ahead. Your generosity will:

• Provide safe shelter and support for families experiencing homelessness
• Help prevent evictions with critical financial assistance
• Move parents and children into stable housing and walk alongside them as they rebuild

Here’s how your gift can make a difference right now:

• $50 can help provide a safe night of shelter, food, and support for a family.
• $150 can help keep the lights and air conditioning on so a family can stay in their home.
• $500 can support a family’s move into stable housing with case management and essentials.
• $1,000 can help a family weather a crisis month and remain safely housed.

Our goal is simple but urgent: raise $50,000 in 30 days so that this summer, parents are not worrying about where their kids will sleep tonight.
