A Place to Call Home. A Community to Belong To.

Three years ago, I joined Trailhead Community, a nonprofit that had spent nearly a decade working toward a vision of inclusive housing where adults with and without developmental disabilities could live independently, side by side.

Since opening our doors in 2024, I've had the privilege of watching that vision become reality. I've seen residents build friendships, gain confidence, discover new interests, and experience independence and belonging in ways that have truly transformed lives.

Today, Trailhead is a growing community of 81 homes in Littleton, Colorado. While we've accomplished something incredible, there are still so many individuals and families searching for housing opportunities like this.
