I have always felt the feeling of belonging means everything, haven't you? Language learning is a springboard for that belonging in any Community. And more than that, the friendships made, as English is learned, last a lifetime and vulnerability fades away for the teacher and the learner.

For 25 years I have had the great opportunity to cheer the mission of Intercambio on by volunteering, teaching, and donating.  The joy and friendships I have made far outweigh anything I have given.
