In 2024, a young man walked through the doors of The Rock Found and connected with our WAGEES 18–24 program.
He landed his first job, but the experience came with challenges. That first six months of employment became an opportunity to learn—to strengthen his interpersonal skills, practice resolving conflict, and develop life skills he could carry into his next chapter.
Today, he is six months into his second job. He has a savings account. And last month, he reached another milestone: putting a down payment on a car and applying for insurance on his own.
Each step reflects his effort and growing ability to build the future he wants. A steady job. Money saved. Transportation of his own. A stronger foundation for independence.
At The Rock Found, we believe lasting change grows through connection, opportunity, and support that leaves room to learn. His progress shows what becomes possible when someone has a community beside them as they take their next steps.
