Keep Kids Loving Learning

Engaging kids in learning in schools has become even more challenging, particularly after the pandemic. And yet there are lots of things that are exciting to kids—from Star Wars to superheroes 🦸‍♀️ like Ms. Marvel or Spiderman to playing Mariokart, reading Dogman or Nemora, or watching One Piece or Naruto. 

So why not use what students are excited about to inspire a love of learning, teach them critical thinking, reading and writing skills, and spark further passions?!? This is what Pop Culture Classroom does!

•  Through resources for teachers like Colorful History and teaching guides for graphic novels, teachers have tools to bridge what students care about and the standards they teach. 
• Through workshops and community activities, kids can expand their reading, writing and science skills through comics, games, and experiments connected to their favorite heroes or fandoms. 
• And parents and kids can get access to a great list of award winning graphic novels, making it easier to find fantastic reads for your kids in a format they love. 

This Giving Tuesday or Colorado Gives Day help me out and make a donation to Pop Culture Classroom so more teachers can have access to these tools and students more opportunities to spark their love of learning in ways that speak to them.
