Invest in a Safe and Healthy Future

Hello, my friend!

Do you ever feel an urge to support the movement toward a pleasant and healthy future, yet find yourself unsure how to help? Here's an opportunity to make an effective/important contribution, and it won't take more than a few minutes of your time.

I've been volunteering for and donating to 350 CO for over a year now, and am continuously impressed/inspired by their work: their general knowledge of our current situation, compassionate and realistic attitudes toward the movement, and their seemingly ceaseless dedication to realizing the sustainable future that we all want. They've supported me and continuously give me opportunities to learn and offer my skillset, and have even motivated me to engage with policy makers --- something I previously only fantasized about! Crazy... 

I previously doubted the impact of donating to organizations like this... but now that I've seen the work from the inside, I am confident that this is an effective way to contribute. It also seems suitable to my current life situation --- I'm so thankful for my privilege, and see that donating is an effective, simple and time-efficient way for me to contribute. Perhaps it is for you, too.

To be super clear --- I will not directly see a penny of your contribution, and I don't want to. I will continue to volunteer and donate. It feels like my duty. 

We're at a decisive moment in history as we face increasing temperatures, wildfires, drought, flooding, and air pollution. We need to transition to a clean/renewable energy future, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions is essential to protect our climate and our communities. 350 CO is the largest grassroots climate organization mobilizing and taking action on climate change here in Colorado, and they are in a strong position to make serious change here. We can help support them, in turn supporting all (including us). :)

No amount is too small. Seriously. Like, even $10 can help pay for some food or hydration at action events around the state, or help pay for transportation, or for the internet bill of one of the committee leaders so they can continue hosting weekly meetings.
