Blue Sky Bridge

Blue Sky Bridge fosters safe communities, healing, and justice to end child abuse. This isn't just a nice quote, it's the bedrock of everything we do. 

I was introduced to Blue Sky Bridge and their work 10 years ago. I had no idea how much they would have an impact on me. In 2017, I began to work with the staff at Blue Sky Bridge on a consistent basis through my work as a police detective. While investigating horrendous cases of child abuse and hearing the heartbreaking stories of the victims involved, I was moved by heart of this organization to help families begin their journey toward healing. 

Since then, I have donated and volunteered my time to help continue their mission to help end child abuse. Last year, I was honored to be voted onto the Board of Directors and keep up the fight by empowering efforts to not only assist victims and their families at their worst moment, but also foster intervention and education. 

While this mission is important and worthy and of your donations, I'd like to focus on the people who make Blue Sky Bridge what it is. Whether it's the administrative staff, therapists, forensic interviewers, education teams, family support advocates, or the volunteers, they dedicate their entire being to making this mission statement a reality. Ending child abuse isn't a tagline; it's a belief that guides their every decision.
