$4,000 goal

Did you know I’m dyslexic? And that my mom and grandmother had dyslexia too? It was third grade when I knew I was having trouble, and was falling behind. I got tools to help me catch up, but wasn’t diagnosed with Dyslexia until I was in high school.

Identifying dyslexia early in childhood is one of the best ways to set a child up for success. I’m so proud that Loryn is a part of @Steamboat Reading to help create confident readers and writers in Steamboat and dispel common dyslexia myths that I still carry with me.

Now’s the part where I need your help. I’m fundraising for Steamboat Reading so I can participate in a fun evening of Family Feud style games. My goal is for my team of four to raise $4000 which will help me win the game night, and ultimately help Steamboat Reading offer more tutoring, evaluation, advocacy, and parent education.

Steamboat Reading is hosting its 3rd annual fundraiser- a game night of Survey Says! Four-person teams compete and see who’s in tune with the most popular answers to survey questions based on polling locals.

Each team will have the chance to use mulligans like asking the audience for an answer. This fundraising page will support the teams in "buying" mulligans during the game. Give this team an advantage by donating to support them!

All proceeds from the event benefit Steamboat Reading, a nonprofit that helps children become successful readers and writers.

When: Thursday, October 24, 2024 - 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Where: Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library

Who: Eight teams of 4 people compete. Audience members are invited to watch the fun!
