Empowering Readers Since 2017

We believe every child deserves to learn to read. Since 2017, we’ve provided life-changing support for children who struggle with foundational literacy skills. Many of these students have exhausted school resources and require the intensive, individualized instruction we offer to succeed.

Financial assistance is a cornerstone of our mission, supporting approximately 30% of our clients. This was the reason for our transition to a nonprofit in 2019. Our services are essential. Without this support, many children would not learn to read. With our multisensory, language-based instruction and the repetition struggling readers need, 100% of students who complete our program achieve grade-level reading skills, along with renewed confidence and self-esteem.

We also advocate for families, guiding parents through the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and 504 Plan processes. Our collaborative approach ensures parents are active participants in the process and that a comprehensive plan is developed and tailored to the child’s needs.

Our learning evaluations go beyond diagnosis, including follow-up meetings with parents, our evaluator, and the school team to ensure the recommendations are understood and implemented effectively.

In addition to one-on-one interventions, we empower the broader community through free programs. We raise awareness about dyslexia via newsletters, social media, and Dyslexia Awareness Month events. We host in-person dyslexia simulations for educators and community members.

We also offer parent workshops featuring easy-to-implement activities to develop early literacy skills and identify early signs of dyslexia. Research shows early intervention is key to a child’s success, and we’re committed to equipping parents with the tools to make a difference.
