Success! => Let's Strengthen Leadville together!

You can still donate for Leadville - thank you in advance!

I wanted to chase something even bigger than a race result and still need your help in that.

On Saturday August 15th, I lined up for the legendary Leadville 100 MTB, starting my race day at the very back of the pack - and my goal was to pass as many of the ~1500 other riders as I can…

…not for a PR, but to raise money for the Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation and help Build & Strengthen the remarkable community of Leadville, CO.

And this is where I need your help. My goal is to raise (was: $50,000+) $100,000+ (100% of which goes directly to the beneficiary) to support the Legacy Foundation’s work investing directly back into Leadville. Your contribution will help fund:

--- The Legacy Scholarship program that awards $2,000 to every graduating senior from Lake County High School who wants to further their education

--- Community grants that build and maintain trails, support emergency services, fund the local food bank and other critical community needs.

Every rider I pass on August 15th will represent investment in local Leadville kids, families and the future of this incredible mountain town that needs your help. Turns out, I was the fastest (non-Pro) rider in the field by time, passing nearly 1,500 riders despite starting about 20minutes behind the first corral. A nice win for the Leadville kids & community.

How can you help? You can still support this effort by making a donation here today.

I'm very grateful for the support, as we've (as of Aug 17 2026) raised over $100,000 when direct wires and pending donations are included.

Results are now in, I passed just about 1,500 riders on the road - On behalf of the entire Leadville community, thank you for your (continued) support!
