I want to chase something even bigger than a race result and need your help in that.
On Saturday August 15th, I will line up for the legendary Leadville 100 MTB, starting my race day at the very back of the pack - and my goal is to pass as many of the ~1500 other riders as I can…
…not for a PR, but to raise money for the Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation and help Build & Strengthen the remarkable community of Leadville, CO.
And this is where I need your help. My goal is to raise $50,000+ (100% of which goes directly to the beneficiary) to support the Legacy Foundation’s work investing directly back into Leadville. Your contribution will help fund:
--- The Legacy Scholarship program that awards $2,000 to every graduating senior from Lake County High School who wants to further their education
--- Community grants that build and maintain trails, support emergency services, fund the local food bank and other critical community needs.
Every rider I pass on August 15th will represent investment in local Leadville kids, families and the future of this incredible mountain town that needs your help.

We’ve had a good start so far (as of June 1, 2026) and hopefully with your help we can build from here:
- Nearly $20,000 committed in direct donations
- Additional pledges totaling $20 per rider passed (which should exceed another $20,000)
