Helping Colorado kids find their favorite story!

Everyone remembers the magic of their first favorite book — the story that made them fall in love with reading, or the moment someone special read aloud to them. For me that was Goodnight Moon, a book I can still recite from memory to this day! My first favorite book helped shape who I am. Now, you can give that gift to a new generation.

Help Colorado kids fall in love with reading and join Reach Out and Read Colorado this Colorado Gives Day to promote early literacy, family connectivity, and a joy of reading for the kids in your community. Reading aloud with a loved one in the early years prepares a child for a lifetime of success. 

Reading aloud together can change everything  – $36 starts a child’s learning journey in their first year of life. 

 I grew up with thousands of books in my home library and I really believe that having a home library is essential for children.
