I Support Reach Out and Read Colorado because it is an evidence based program. Children involved with RORCO show significantly improved language development by and average of 3 to 6 months compared to their peers. It also helps prepare children for kindergarten with improved literacy and social-emotional skills that they need to succeed. But most of all, RORCO really helps strengthen parent-child relationships.

Everyone remembers the magic of their first favorite book — the story that made them fall in love with reading, or the moment someone special read aloud to them.  Your first book helped shape who you are. Now, you can give that gift to a new generation.

$300 covers the annual program cost for a small, rural RORCO clinic

$150 provides books & literacy guidance at 23 well-child visits

$85 supports one child’s entire RORCO journey, birth-5 years old

$25 provides books & literacy guidance at 4 well-child visits
