My Fundraiser

Studying how democracies die for a living can depressing, but through my board service with the ACLU of CO I've been lucky to witness the enormous passion and power of our diverse communities working together to protect and deepen civil rights and liberties for all. I've witnessed moves to autocracy in places like Russia and Hungary, where a lack of a robust organization like the ACLU meant autocratic leaders were able to gut the institutions of democracy and violate the civil rights and liberties of the public with little oversight. I'm so proud to be part of this essential organization at this critical time for our country, and I hope you will join me in supporting the work of the ACLU as we the people work to create a more perfect union for all.
