$15,000 goal

Hi! Our names are Bella and Katelin. We are current seniors at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Our senior project will raise the necessary funds for inclusive playground equipment for Toepfer Park in Highlands Ranch.

Our project was inspired by Bella's younger sister, Macy. Macy (15) was diagnosed with epilepsy at 6 months and, later on, Dravet Syndrome at 3 years old. Due to this, both of us know and see the importance of inclusion in the daily world. We hope to provide fun and safe equipment for her and her friends to play at a local park.

Our project goals include raising $15,000, encouraging a community of inclusion and love, and engaging with local community members to make the biggest impact.

As best friends since middle school,  we do almost everything together. We are both heavily involved in athletics, the DECA team, Unified, and are International Baccalaureate students. With leadership, creativity, and strong passion, we always go the extra step to make our community a better place to be. As we complete our senior project, “Project Play,”  we hope to shine a positive light on our community and include all, in and outside the school.

We thank you for your support in our journey to make this world a better place for all.
