The Next 60 Voices

Your donation supports 60 community members access our Story Pop-Up experience, including those in rural areas. 

Story Pop-Ups are intimate live storytelling events that invite cohorts of 5-8 youth (14-24 years old) and adults from a community partner (i.e., a school, a nonprofit, or even a family) to share personal stories inspired by a theme. YEBO facilitates three hours of coaching sessions for each storyteller, and then we host a pop-up-style event to showcase and celebrate their voices and stories.

We use the content from these storytelling activities to produce podcasts on our audio platform, YEBOpod. We publish the content into Mixtapes (radio-hour-style themed story collections).

Even a small donation can make a significant impact, and every dollar donated will help us provide storytellers with a safe, affirming, and impactful experience. 

$25 provides one hour of coaching for a storyteller.

$75 secures all coaching sessions for one storyteller.

$100 funds food and refreshments for up to 20 people at a Story Pop-Up event.

$250 funds an event space to host a Story Pop-Up for up to 8 storytellers and 40 audience members.

$500 allows us to edit and produce 15 stories into professional-level podcasts.
