I have been on the board of L'Arche Noco for the past year and a half,  and in early 2025, we are getting ready to break ground on our first home!

The launch of L’Arche NOCO initiates a radically different approach to meeting the needs of people with intellectual disabilities, based in deep competencies and decades of transformative experience.  We leverage the power of relationships and community to innovate service provision and create synergy with existing resources that consistently result in greater integration and significantly higher quality of life.

For 60 years, L’Arche has lived “meaningful impact” in more than 150 inclusive communities in 38 countries, with over 10,000 people with and without intellectual disabilities who live, work and share life together in meaningful, mutual relationships.

Your donation helps people like Ben and his family. Ben lives with Down Syndrome and currently lives alone. He seeks the community that a L'Arche home would provide. His parents worry about what will happen to Ben when they are no longer around.  A L’Arche home provides more than security for parents like John and Barbara. L’Arche provides a home for life for people like Ben, a very different model than most Colorado host homes.
