No one likes riding their mountain bikes on the road, so OMBA is advocating for better connectivity from our paved bike pathways to dirt singletrack in our open spaces and natural areas.
We are working with Larimer County Natural Resources to extend soft surface trails from South Bay to Inlet Bay around Horsetooth Reservoir, with construction hopefully beginning in 2024! We recently helped LCNR build the Nomad extension and new Nomad-Stout connector in Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, and are advocating for connecting trails running from the south of Devil's Backbone Open Space to Coyote Ridge Natural Area on the east side of the ridge.
